Mid Season report.

 

The inaugural season is underway for the Vikings with a 2-7 start.  The first half of the season featured games against some the top teams in Charlotte. The adjustment was difficult at times for the young Vikings with losses to Marvin Ridge, Charlotte Catholic, Myers Park, Cannon and Weddington.  The future does look very optimistic. The Vikings had a convincing victory against local rival Hopewell 12-2.  The offense is starting to click with 15 goals in their last two games.  The defense had a great effort against Southeast Guilford, a team that was in the state semi finals a year ago.  The 8 -4 win against SE Guilford, a feature win for the program and the Vikings expect to build on it and propel to finish the 2009 campaign strong.
